My design approach is to make things better through a complex design process.  The core of every development is the question which feature I can improve and what will be the benefit. I will always look for innovation either concerning the use, the function, the material or the sustainability. Form follows innovation. 

As the core is always the innovation, my products will stay up to date for many years. I am working for german and international clients as: Casala, Cor, Jori, Freifrau, KFF, Menu, Moormann, Müller Möbelwerkstätten, Philippi, Pieperconcept, Qdo Denmark, Radius Design, Stelton, WMF ...

My designs are award-winning: German Design Award, Design Plus, Bosch Work Art, Design Preis Schweiz, IF Hannover, Designzentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, Deutscher Designer Club, FORM, Interior Innovation Award, Good Design Award Japan. My folding table “Last Minute” created for Nils Holger Moormann is part of the collection of museums: Neue Sammlung München, Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin, Cooper Hewitt Museum New York and Musée de l´ art decoratifs Paris. In 2017 I was selected amongst the 50 best designers of Germany for the book Best of German Interior Design (together with Sven Hansen). 

I did lectures for different universities : UDK Berlin, Burg Giebichenstein Halle, Hochschule Dessau, HTW Dresden, Berlin-International University of Applied Sciences, Whitecliffe University of Applied Sciences.
